Athletes from Kids World Gymnastics, a gymnastics center located at 1410 Woodville Rd., Millbury, delivered an exceptional showing at the state championships, earning numerous individual titles and podium finishes in Columbus on March 22 (Levels 4/5) and the University of Toledo on April 11-12 (Levels 2/3).
Kids World Gymnastics, owned and operated by Mike and Lonna Meadows since 1980, offers competitive and noncompetitive gymnastics classes that range from levels 1-5, tiny tots (ages 3-4), and open tumbling.
“Emerging young competitors demonstrated depth, consistency and a commitment to excellence for our program,” Lonna Meadows, who also serves as a coach, said.
Athletes compete in different levels not only based on skill level, but different age groups within those levels. Meadows and Jenna Muetze coach all levels. Tiffany Marquis coaches the 3s and up, while Candace Wolfe coaches the 2s.
The Level 2 team showcased standout performances on the floor exercise. Hanna Wolfe, of Genoa, captured the state championship in her age group with a score of 9.475. Teammates Izel Franco Weed and Everly Clere each earned second-place finishes within their age groups, both posting scores of 9.5. Mila Gomez added to the team’s success with a third-place finish (9.45).
The Level 3 team delivered a dominant performance. As a team, Kids World Gymnastics placed second overall in the American division out of 15 teams, earning a score of 114.625.

Huxleigh Marquis, of Genoa, also stood out, claiming state titles on bars (9.8) and in the all-around (38.125). She added second place finishes on beam (9.45) and floor (9.425), as well as a third-place finish on vault (9.45). At Level 5, Kaliah Ludlow, of Oregon, earned the state title on beam with a 9.45, along with second-place finishes on floor (9.35) and the all-around (37.050).
“Across all levels, Kids World Gymnastics athletes combined for multiple state titles, top three finishes, and an outstanding team result reflecting the program’s dedication to skill development, hard work and teamwork,” Meadows said. “What makes our teams so special isn’t just the medals — it’s their work ethic, their teamwork, and the way they lift each other up. We are incredibly proud of all of our athletes and the effort they gave all season to reach this level of success.”
