Terry L. Byersmith, 82, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 23, 2026 surrounded by family. Terry was born in Toledo, Ohio, August 1, 1944, to Daniel “Smokey” and Virginia (Hemmig) Kilburn. In the early 1970’s, Terry along with her sister, Beverly owned and operated the Red Fox Lounge in Toledo. Terry later went to work at the popular Andre’s Lounge for over twenty years until retirement. Terry was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Toledo.

Terry is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul; children, Sherre (nee Williams) (James) Tomblin and Paul E. Byersmith Jr.; grandchildren, James, Kelsey, Krista, Paul III, Nick, and Jessica; siblings, Robert (Chris) Kilburn; sisters-in-law, Freddi Kilburn, and Naomi “Red” Kilburn; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Donna, Lou Ann, Patsy, Dan, Beverly, Ronald, Sharon, Vickie, and Judith and grandson, Craig.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funer Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Monday, August 31, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Please join the family and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 434 Western Avenue, Toledo for Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm. Interment will remain private.

Terry’s family wishes to thank her niece, Lisa Daly for caring for her for the last few years. In addition, a special thanks to her sister-in-law, Sharon Byersmith; friend, Fran Wilber; Majestic Care of Toledo, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for making her final days more comfortable.
