On April 30, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Genoa Police Department, were attempting to serve a felony warrant on Dean Rahe at his residence of 23170 State Route 51 in Ottawa County.
During this time, Mr. Rahe hid from law enforcement and barricaded himself in the basement area. Additional units including Clay Township Police Department and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team were dispatched to the scene.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team made entry into the residence, apprehending Rahe and transporting him to the Ottawa County jail, where he is facing multiple charges in addition to his felony warrant.
