Mike Garcia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, with family by his side. He was born on December 3rd, 1953 in Fremont, OH. The oldest of four children to Louis and Nora (Zuniga) Garcia. He graduated class of 1972 from Woodmore High School/Penta Career Center. He was a Veteran of the United States Air National Guard and he was resilient in his working years, with time spent at Chrysler and Columbia Gas, as well as pursuing his own entrepreneurial ventures. Mike lived a full life, unfiltered and indelible. He retained edges born from life’s hardship and he took pride in using those edges to protect the people he loved. In the end, he drew the most pride from being a father and a grandfather. He leaves behind four children who carry pieces of his fire and his heart: Amber, Tony, Mahogany, and Jenny. Mike’s life was not soft. It was real. It was bold and it left a mark. Though he has laid down his fight, his stories live on through his family and the many people who crossed his path. Rest now, Mike Garcia — strong-willed and unforgettable.
