Jeffrey Pfitzer

Jeffrey R, Pfitzer (Elmo) of Akela New Mexico, formerly of Lake Township Ohio has gone on to riding in the Heavens. Jeff passed on April 26, 2026, in his home in Akela with his partner and wife of 26 years Cheri by his side.

Jeffrey Pfitzer was born on August 7, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to parents, Richard and Zita Pfitzer who preceded him in death.

Jeff retired from the City of Northwood. Where he was a mechanic. He also owned and operated Flow-by-Moe. a motorcycle repair shop that had been in operation for decades. Jeff, Elmo as everyone called him, had motorcycle oil in his blood There was nothing he didn’t know about them. Riding and working on bikes were second nature to Elmo. He had a tremendous reputation as a mechanic, and a large following. He lived for planning and going on road trips with his close friends.

Jeff and Cheri retired to Akela New Mexico in 2017 so they could ride whenever they wanted to.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Cheri. His daughter Samantha Decker (Joe), his grandchildren Zita and Sully (Sullivan).

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Jeff at Wildwood Metro Park at 5100 Central Ave, on September 12, 2026, from 11 to 5. Bring your pictures and stories. A luncheon (read cookout) will be served. Pete Crawford will be the grill master.
