Goldie Faye Dangler, 88 of Elmore, OH died peacefully in her sleep Friday, July 3, 2026 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born February 16, 1938 in Burdine, KY to the late John and Polly (Conley) Baker. She was married to Charles Dangler in March of 1954. Goldie worked as a Home Health Aide in Wood County for many years. She loved playing baseball, reading, jigsaw puzzles, playing games, gardening, and Elvis.
You could often find her having her favorite treats, eating a kit-kat bar and drinking a Coke.
Survivors include her children: Ronald (Genise) Dangler, Kathy (Fred) Winters, and Dennis Dangler; grandchildren: Jarrad Egert, Keith Egert, Tracy (Nick) Army, Nick (Holly) Dangler, Janelle (Aaron) Ayers, Laura (Mike) Ehman, and Blake Schaffer; great-grandchildren: Caleb Egert, Cairin Dix, Maddox Dangler, Makenna Ayers, and Everleigh Army. She was preceded in death by her parents, father of her children Charles Dangler, son Jim Dangler, 12 siblings: Elmer, Dempsey, Billie, twins- Ida and Owa, Leroy, Ray, Carol, Ellis “Skeet”, Jack Jason, Manfred, and Jesse Wendell.
Services will be held privately by the family with burial to take place in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.crosserpriesmanfuneralhome.com
