Former Woodmore paraprofessional sentenced for rape

Posted

Christin Coble, a former paraprofessional within the Woodmore school district, was sentenced on July 9 to 16-20 years in prison after being found guilty of raping a disabled student inside her home.

The Helena resident, 46, was previously convicted by a jury on May 21 on two counts of first-degree felony rape and two counts of third-degree sexual battery. Due to a state law prohibiting the “imposition of multiple punishments,” she was ultimately sentenced for one count of rape and one count of sexual battery.

Coble will receive credit for seven months already served, and under the terms of her sentencing, she will be classified as a Tier 3 sex offender.

She was originally arrested on Jan. 7, 2025, by the Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office, which was followed by her being placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.
