Serving Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood Counties
Sharon Hanna, a docent at the Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) and an instructor at the Wood County Committee on Aging, recently led a group of senior art enthusiasts on an enlightening tour of the museum. The trip was a culmination of Hanna's “Art Tells Stories” course, which has grown in popularity among local older adults.
During the tour, participants were treated to an in-depth exploration of the museum's extensive collection, including both well-known pieces and lesser-known gems..
“I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to guide my students through the Toledo Museum of Art and share my love for the incredible works housed within its walls,” Hanna said. “My goal is to make art accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and I believe that connecting people with art helps to enrich their lives.”
