Posted

Three people, including two adults and one juvenile, were injured in an incident at a Gibsonburg home in the early morning hours of July 13.

At approximately 4:43 a.m., Gibsonburg police received a call from a residence on the 400 block of East Yeasting Street. The two adults, one male and one female, were transported to the hospital with severe injuries, where they remain as of July 16.

The 16-year-old juvenile was initially treated for injuries and then taken into custody at the Sandusky County Juvenile Justice Center, where he remains. He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault, per the Sandusky County Prosecutor’s Office.

The prosecutor also said the names of the victims are not being publicly disclosed out of respect for their privacy. They did say that the original 911 call came from the adult female and that the injuries to both adult victims appeared to be the result of a stabbing.
