The skies over Rossford will come alive once again for the 2025 Rossford Balloon & Fireworks Fest, set for Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19, at the crossroads of I-75 and the Ohio Turnpike (Exit 64) behind Meijer on Route 20-Fremont Pike. Parking and admission are free.
Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs and a sense of adventure.
Tethered balloon rides will be available Friday and Saturday from 7-11 p.m., (weather permitting). Rides, which are $15, offer a gentle ascent to 50–90 feet in the air.
Rides are first-come, first-served with no advance sales. Ticket sales start at 6 p.m. The balloon’s easy-access basket features a side door to allow entry and exit for children, guests with mobility challenges or wheelchair users.
The Hero’s Party Experience, offering a Kids’ Activity Area, will be open both days from 5-10 p.m. in front of TOCA Soccer & Sports Center, 10020 S. Compass Dr., Rossford. The Family Fun Zone will feature four areas –– a Kiddie Zone, Family Zone, Speed Zone and Carnival Zone. Families can purchase individual day passes for one or more zones or opt for a weekend all-access pass. Choose the Kid’s Activities link on the website for to purchase tickets.

Volunteers are still needed for a variety of roles, including event setup, guest services, ticket sales and more. All volunteers will receive a free festival T-shirt.
