The countdown is on.
Join the Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce on May 29 at Maumee Bay State Park Lodge as theycelebrate the outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals making a difference in our community.
The event will be hosted by WTOL's Chrys Peterson and Oregon’s own Larry Schaffer.
Nominations are now closed. The Chamber said the response has “been incredible” and that they “can’t wait to reveal this year’s winners.”
The dinner menu will include a fresh spinach salad followed by your choice of braised short rib with mashed potatoes and beef gravy, chicken focaccia with penne pasta and red pepper cream sauce and garlic-parmesan and white rolls with butter. Assorted deluxe pastries will be for dessert.

2024 winners included: Buckeye Broadband (Large Business of the Year), Open Arms Wellness Center (Small Business of the Year), Red Eye Pie and Frozen Fantasty’s (Newcomer of the Year), Country Lane Tree Farm (Silver Business of the Year), Jake and Cooper’s Bark Park and Helping Hands of St. Louis (Non-profit of the Year) and Quinn McDougle (Person of the Year). Also, Vayda Delventhal (Lake HS), Emma Kalmbach (Clay HS) and Katlyn Druckenmiller (Clay HS) were chosen as tri-recipients of the Young Person of the Year award.
