The search for a new superintendent at the Eastwood Local School District is nearing completion.
Board of Education President Randy Rothenbuhler has narrowed the candidate pool down to two – Benton-Carroll-Salem Principal Brian Hughes and Anthony Wayne’s human resources director Brad Contat.
"The board has done our due diligence with background checks and reference calls,” Rothenbuhler said.
The board will conduct the final interviews on April 16 and then proceed to decision-making soon after.
"The board is excited to announce the person who will be our next educational leader and look forward to welcoming him at an upcoming meeting," Rothenbuhler said.
