Cardinal Stritch High School has announced the additions of Rodney Boman and Dr. Ron Johnson to the school’s board of directors.

Both men, who are alumni of Cardinal Stritch, are slated to begin their terms in this fall. The school aims to have them strengthen academic initiatives, enhance student opportunities, and help guide the continued growth and success of Cardinal Stritch.

Boman is the vice president of Integrated Talent Strategies, an international recruiting and staffing firm based in Holland, Ohio. He is a 1984 graduate of the University of Toledo in applied organizational technology.

In accepting this position, Boman said he hopes to bring support, guidance, and insight to the next generation of Cardinal Stritch students and faculty.

"Growing up in Point Place, there were not many families at that time sending their children to Cardinal Stritch," he said. "From the first day I was there, it was a family. Looking back at how Stritch helped me grow, I would not change those years for anything."

Bowman resides in Sylvania Township with his family. He enjoys coaching softball, traveling, and spending time on a lake in Hillsdale County, Mich.

Johnson is the director of military and veteran programs and services at the University of Dayton, where he applies his extensive background in leadership and organizational development. His academic achievements include earning a Doctor of Education in Leadership for Organizations from the University of Dayton, a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of New Haven, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Colorado State University-Global Campus.

A retired United States Coast Guard veteran, Johnson looks forward to offering a refreshed alumni perspective, aiming to strengthen connections within the alumni community and leveraging Stritch's rich history to shape its future direction.

He resides just outside Dayton, Ohio, with his wife, Amy, their children, Kaia, Cameron, and Connor, and their two beloved dogs, Henry and Parker.
