The 50th annual Birmingham Ethnic Festival was held at Saint Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church on Aug. 17.
The day of celebration featured traditional Hungarian goodies and a chicken paprikas dinner served at the church, along with a chimney cake truck, music, live performances, drinks, a wine garden and more.
Father John Peter Lazaar also spoke, along with local government representatives, and Endre Cseh played the cimbalom, which is the national instrument of Hungary.
