The annual Birmingham Ethnic Festival will take place on Aug. 16 from noon to 8 p.m., beginning with the opening ceremony at 11:15 a.m. at Saint Stephen's Church, followed by a procession to the VFW Veterans Corner, where the official ceremonies will continue.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, the festival's organizers are implementing the following security measures:
● No minors will be admitted without a parent or responsible adult.
● No backpacks will be permitted.
● No hoodies may be worn.
● No large purses or oversized bags will be allowed.
● The Birmingham Ethnic Festival maintains a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive or unlawful behavior.
