Wood SWCD Fish Sale
The Wood Soil and Water Conservation District is offering a Spring Fingerling Fish Sale.
Fish species offered include bluegill, hybrid bluegill, redear sunfish, channel catfish, largemouth bass, yellow perch, fathead minnows and white amur.

Eastwood High School will be the setting for an all-class reunion being planned for Saturday, Sept. 26.
Eastwood Alumni along with alumni from Pemberville, Troy-Luckey and Webster Schools have formed a committee to plan the event.

Emergency resolution won’t take effect, trustees told

After years of contracting with the Ottawa County Health Department for health care service for inmates at the county jail, Ottawa County sheriff Steve Levorchick has decided to contract with the Erie County Health Department for the service.

Crews continue to make progress on the Elmore Bridge project. This week they’re pouring pier footers and the rear abutment beam seat. They’ve started drainage and embankment work on the north side, and are laying out drainage structures for the south side.
