Jerusalem Township Trustees will hold a virtual public meeting on March 23 at 7 p.m. to discuss plans by the Lucas County sheriff to end road patrols in less than two years.
Sheriff Mike Navarre will attend the meeting to take questions from the public.
Jerusalem Township is preparing to update its Comprehensive Master Plan.
"About every 10 years or so, as a township, we are supposed to update our land use or comprehensive plan,” said Township Trustee Mark Sattler. “It’s basically a strategic plan for the township.”

A golf outing to raise money for Wreaths Across America is planned for 8 a.m. on June 20 at Eagle’s Landing Golf Course in Oregon.
Money raised will be used to place wreaths on over 971 veterans buried at Willow Cemetery, 1961 Pickle Rd., Oregon.
