The Maumee Bay Carvers Association presented their 42nd Annual Decoy Show and Swap and Sell Meet, Aug. 10, at the Magee Marsh Visitor Center, Oak Harbor. The free event gave visitors a chance to see beautifully carved decoys and shorebirds made by hand.

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred on State Route 795 at Glenwood Road in Perrysburg Township. The crash occurred Aug. 15 at approximately noon.

Walbridge Village Council heard the first reading Wednesday of an ordinance to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission grant program.
The village is hoping to receive funding to help pay for the cost of repairing Allen Street and Holly Drive, Mayor Ed Kolanko said.
