        There were two fires in Jerusalem Township over the June 17, 18 weekend. Both houses were destroyed.

Two killed in explosion, fire at BP-Husky refinery

         There was still no word by press time on Thursday on what caused an explosion and fire at the BP-Husky refinery on Tuesday on Cedar Point Road that killed two employees. 

Jerusalem Twp. battles heavy fire

        The Jerusalem Township Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Cousino Road and Jerusalem Road on Friday, April 22.

Oregon approves contracts with fire, police

       Oregon City Council approved contracts with three fire and police unions at a committee of the whole meeting on Monday. The contracts will go before city council at its next meeting for final approval.
