WWII vet laid to rest

Oregon resident SSGT. Jack W. Coy, whose plane was shot down during WWII was laid to rest at the Willow Cemetery, Pickle Rd., Oregon, on May 26. Coy was a tail gunner on a B-24 Liberator, with the 8th USAAF, 445th, 703rd. In September 2023 his remains were identified through DNA testing from family members.
