Credit union promotes 3
Bay Area Credit Union has announced the promotion of three employees.
Farrah McGowan, of Genoa, has been promoted to director of member services.
In recent weeks, she’s been focused on promoting all of Bay Area Credit Union’s electronic services so members still have access to not only their accounts but also new products.
Financial service representative Sharon Salyers is assuming the lead financial services representative’s position. Salyers is an Oak Harbor resident with more than 25 years of financial service background.
The credit union has also recently promoted compliance officer Jim Dransfield to director of compliance and product development.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, he graduated from Auburn University and has worked in a variety of financial fields for over 20 years. In 2017 he, his wife and young son moved to the Haskins area.
Bay Area Credit Union serves members in Ottawa, Sandusky, Lucas, and Wood counties.
