Wood SWCD to hold open house

The Wood Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting the 2023 supervisor election and open
house on Sept. 13, from noon to 6 p.m. at the district office, 1616 E. Wooster St., Suite 32, Bowling Green.
The event is free and open to the community. Visitors are invited to see some of the tallest stalks of corn in the county, learn facts and uses of corn from a member of the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association play a game of corn hole, and enjoy a corn themed snack of corn salsa, corn chips, corndog, and popcorn.
County residents and landowners 18 years of age and older are eligible to vote for two supervisors. Candidate bios and additional ways to cast a ballot are on the district website. http://www.woodswcd.com/
