Wilma Henneman

Wilma Henneman, age 85, of Walbridge passed away on Tuesday, October 24. She was born in Middlesboro, KY to Edward and Martha Gibson on September 11, 1938. She grew up in Jellico, TN and moved to Toledo when she was 14. She worked at Burndy Corp for 19 years, and at Walbridge Coatings for 22 years. 

Wilma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Victoria (Jeffrey) Murphy; her daughter-in-law, Christine Henneman; her granddaughters, Crystal (Dean) Cowell, Christian (Phil Wait) Culotta, Christy Jean (Tim) Overeem, Christiana Henneman, Christina (Kellan) Phillips, her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Adeana, Holly Marie, Christopher Wayne, Victoria, Brooklyn, Katherin, Emberlyn, Kellan Jr.; her nieces, Connie (Nick) Parsons, Lisa 

(Alan) Lutz, Cindi (Jeff) Phalen; nephews, Dale (Diane) Gibson, Brian (Sherry) Gibson, Scott (Kathy) Blecke; sister-in-law, Frances (Paul) Sutton, and special friend, Doug Smith. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Norma Gibson; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (Arlen) Blecke; nephew, Barry Gibson, and her son, Christopher Wayne Henneman. 

Wilma wanted to live to be 100 years old, so she could watch her great-grandchildren grow up. A special thank you to my favorite granddaughter, Christina Lyn.  

Family and Friends will be received on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 2-8 P.M. at Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, OH 43465. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
