Transplant operation

Recently Lake Elementary teacher Casey Rethman’s second-grade students were given "patients" presenting with symptoms such as “having trouble remembering the meanings of words.” The vocabulary doctors had to give their patients a "text feature transplant" of a glossary. There were 10 patients. The Linley family donated the caps, masks and gloves for the operation.
