Theresa (Avalos) Hottman

Theresa (Avalos) Hottmann was born June 28th, 1947 and died on September 3, 2024 in her hometown of Toledo, Ohio. 

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Rita (McNalley) Avalos and sisters, Catherine Juarez, Mary Rita Avalos, Barbara Hart, and Christine Younger.  She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Wendy), Ronald (Susan Beaverson), and Anthony (Kathryn McCray) and her grandsons: Stephen R., Jacob, Dylan, Dane, and Sean; and her beloved dog, Buddy. She is also survived by numerous siblings: brother Stanley Avalos, and sisters: Florence Flores, Bernadine Fouty, Susie Almarez, Ramona Fazenbaker, Joan Harrison, Anna Reeder, Vicky Avalos, Agnes Avalos, and Cynthia Schwartz.

Theresa loved spending time with her sons and grandsons. She also enjoyed crochet, bingo, cooking and is the former owner of Springer’s Restaurant in East Toledo.
