Stroll, Shop, Dine offering online small business holiday directory

Press Staff Writer

Stroll, Shop, Dine – an organization led by small business owners Rebecca Tansel and Taylor Holloway – is offering holiday shoppers a convenient way to patronize local businesses this holiday season.
Holloway runs Callisto Terra, a handmade candle business, and The Hoot Sticks, offering marketing materials for small businesses. Tansel is the owner of Rebecca Rae Creative Services, which offers graphic design, branding and marketing solutions.
The women sought an opportunity to put their experiences together to support and lift up fellow small businesses while offering a beneficial service to the community. Earlier this year, they organized “Stroll, Shop, Dine at the Shrine,” a June event where more than 85 vendors and hundreds of visitors strolled, shopped, and dined on the grounds of the Toledo Shrine in Oregon.
They launched the holiday directory in November to address a need that they saw when doing their personal holiday shopping.
“When doing my personal holiday shopping, I realized it was hard to find small businesses that offered what I needed, so I messaged Taylor, and asked ‘How cool would it be if we had a website that we could shop locally from?’ She agreed, and the rest was history.” Tansel said. “Being small business owners ourselves, we know it takes a village and support to get customers.
“We want Stroll, Shop, Dine to be a pillar for our fellow entrepreneurs and a bridge to the community to make shopping and supporting small businesses easy this holiday season,” she said.
The digital directory lists businesses that offer gifts for everyone including handcrafted jewelry, candles, home décor, gift packages, health and wellness products, fine art, local restaurants, spas, apparel and more. The businesses are organized by category pages, making it easy and convenient to find the right gifts.
Users can sort by business type including handmade, minority-owned, eco-friendly and more. Each listing details what the business offers and offers a direct link to the business website.
Visit and follow on Facebook for updates regarding future events and news. Small businesses that wish to be featured in the directory may fill out a form on the website.
