Stritch’s Little Anderson to play hoops for Lourdes

J. Patrick Eaken

Dennis Hopson has announced that Little Anderson has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Lourdes University beginning this fall, becoming the first Gray Wolf signee under the new head coach.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Anderson played at Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School, where he helped the Cardinals post 68 victories over the last three seasons.
“Little has the necessary work ethic that is needed to be successful on the court,” Hopson said.  “He is a competitor that has unlimited ability and is skilled enough to play multiple positions.”
Anderson became just the second Cardinal in school history to conclude his career with more than 500 rebounds.  He was a First Team All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference selection as a senior after earning Second Team honors as a junior.  During his sophomore season, Anderson was an Honorable Mention All-TRAC honoree.
A Second Team All-District pick as a senior, he was named the District 7 All-Star Game Most Valuable Player following his senior year.
