Steven A. Wright

Steven Wright, 74, of San Marcos, CA, passed away October 18th, 2021, after battling stage 3 lung cancer. Steve was born July 22, 1947 in Bowling Green, Ohio to parents Beverly Krausa and Lyle Wright. On August 30th, 1954, he was adopted by Marilyn Wright after her marriage to Lyle.

During his youth, he attended St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green with his family. This is where he found his unwavering faith that kept him strong throughout his life. Steve graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1965. Steve spent his life loving music, art, his family, and most of all, our Lord. He spent his working days as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service from 1978 until he retired in 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wright of San Marcos, California; son, Sean Wright of Pana, Illinois; daughter, Danielle (Cory) Ammerman of Northwood, Ohio; daughter, Stephanie (Wright) Aldrich of Oak Harbor, Ohio; grandchildren, Benjamin, Lola, and Jace of Oak Harbor, Ohio; siblings, Judy (Tom) Fisher of Gibsonburg, Ohio; sister, Gayle (Mike) Whitacre of Bowling Green, Ohio; brother, David (Marcia) Wright of Sylvania, Ohio; sister, Ann (Steve) Harper of Bowling Green, Ohio; brother, Jeff (Teresa) Wright of Elmore, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly, Lyle and Marilyn; his granddaughter, Isabella.

Steve requested that we celebrate his life and not mourn his passing.
