Senior Softball Signups
The East Toledo Senior Center is taking registrations for 2023 Senior Softball Leagues.
All individuals ages 48 and older are eligible to play in one or both of the center’s two leagues – ages 48 and over and 56 and over. Games are played Monday (56 and older) and Wednesday (48 and older) evenings at Navarre Park.
The registration fee is $65 for each league. Players who are 56 and older may play on both leagues for $95. Registration ends Monday, March 20.

Italian Bowl heading to Toledo July 1
The Italian Bowl heads stateside this summer when the 42nd IFL Championship game is played Saturday, July 1 in the Glass Bowl on the University of Toledo campus.
Planning for the event is well underway, and event organizers recently shared a progress update, including the announcement of the Italian Bowl’s leading supporters and sponsors, including Marco’s Pizza and the following organizations:

Organizers hope the XLII Italian Bowl will encourage shared experiences and collaboration between Italy and the United States, as well as the city of Toledo, which was twinned with Ferrara, Italy, in November 2021.
Planning for the Italian Bowl has been two years in the making, when a group of American businesspeople and football fans extended an invitation to the Federazione Italiana di American Football (FIDAF), which was delighted to accept. This group has been carefully following our top championship and recognized the potential of Americans’ beloved sport to publicize Italy and share the country’s qualities and traditions.
