Run for Literacy

The Oregon-Northwood Rotary Club will present the Second Annual Run for Literacy and Golf Ball Drop on Sept. 7 with proceeds to benefit literacy projects in the community. The event will occur at Fassett Junior High School and includes a 5K route for runners and 1K route for walkers.
        Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. outside school lobby, race begins at 9 a.m., golf ball drop is at 10:30 a.m. with a winning prize of $1,000. Run or walk for adults is $25, which includes water bottle and golf ball drop raffle entry, $20 includes water bottle only, and registration on the day of the event is $30. Additional golf ball drop entries at $10.
