Registration under way for Imagination Station Summer Camps
Registration is now open for Imagination Station’s Summer Camps., The weeklong summer camps, which are being offered throughout June, July and August, offer kids ages 6-13 electrifying experiences as they dive into the wonders of science, technology, engineering, art and math.
Camps begin the week of June 10.
This summer, two new camps invite students to dive into the world of tinkering or to become a filmmaker and discover what goes into producing a short film. And fan favorites like “Project: Storytime,” “Game On” and “Super Splatter Science” are all back, too.
Also new this year is an off-site summer camp being offered at the University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum from June 3-7 for campers in grades five-8.
“Our camps are focused on hands-on, STEAM learning,” said Sloan Eberly Mann, Imagination Station’s chief education officer. “By encompassing STEAM in each of our camps, all of our classes are a comprehensive educational experience and ensure kids are engaged in learning while having fun with their friends.”
The registration fee is $250 for science center members and $275 for nonmembers. Some families may qualify for financial assistance. More information can be found at imaginationstationtoledo.org.
