Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn and Eric Willman, of Willman Technologies, presented 26 refurbished radios to students in the Firefighter and Criminal Justice programs at Penta Career Center on Sept. 29. The donation, initiated through the Wood County Board of Commissioners, will help the programs develop a dispatch training area. Willman Technologies donated batteries and antennas for the radios. Both Willman and Sheriff Wasylyshyn spoke to the students about the importance of radio communication in public safety careers.
