Plover chicks have hatched!

On Thursday, July 1, at 7:44 a.m. the first Piping Plover chick began to poke its way out of the egg. By 5:00 p.m. all four eggs had hatched. Pictured, two of the chicks with the mother at Maumee Bay State Park. (Photo courtesy of Ming H Yao)
