Pemberville Library Friends offering Christmas Home Tours

        The Pemberville Friends of the Library are continuing their tradition of hosting a Christmas Home Tour on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 2-7 p.m.
        The tour will include five area homes:
        • Amy Eisenhour, 430 Linden Dr,, Pemberville.
        • Marcia and Denny Cousino, 143 E. Front St., Pemberville.
        • Erica and Simon Messinger, 16630 N. River Rd., Pemberville.
        • Nancy and David Pfeiffer, 315 Vine St., Pemberville.
        • Anna and Chuck Smith, 6860 Linwood Rd. Pemberville.
        Tickets are available at the library, 375 E. Front St., or at individual homes on the day of the tours for $15. Refreshments will be served at the library during the tour. Call 419-287-4012.

        Through Jan. 1: Rock & Awe Reloaded! Holiday Light Show, Sandusky County Courthouse, 100 N. Park Ave., Fremont. Featuring more than 33,000 lights synchronized to music, and special effects. Free. Show runs Sundays-Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 6-11 p.m. On Croghan Colonial Bank Night, Dec. 6, enjoy free hot chocolate, snacks and giveaways.         Through Jan. 5, 2025: Hayes Holiday Train Special, Hayes Presidential Library & Museums, Spiegel Grove, Fremont. Operating model train display runs through an intricate Victorian holiday scene. Interactive buttons allow visitors to control aspects of the trains’ movements along the winding, multi-tiered layout.         Ongoing: Ice Skating at the Ribbon, Glass City Metropark, 983 Front St., Toledo. The Ribbon, supported by the Hylant Family Foundation, is a 1,000-foot loop trail featuring rolling hills and soft curves for a uniquely Metroparks winter ice skating experience. It is connected to a 5,000 square foot skating pond that offers a traditional ice rink experience for beginners and a series of special events and program.
