Ottawa County: Grand jury indicts 10
Three persons are scheduled to appear Sept. 8 in Ottawa County Common Pleas Court after being indicted by a county grand jury.
Larry Bradford, Jr., Lorain, O., has been charged with one count each of possession of weapons while under disability and carrying a concealed weapon after a Marblehead police officer allegedly found him with a weapon. A warrant had been issued by Cuyahoga County authorities alleging he was a fugitive from justice on charges pending in that county.
Elizabeth Takacs, Lakeside, was indicted on felony charges of assault of a police officer and obstructing official business and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She reportedly kicked a Danbury Township police officer.
Serena Elia, Providence, Rhode Island, has been charged with one count each of harassment with bodily substances and obstructing official business after she reportedly spit on a Danbury Township police officer.
Warrants have been issued for seven others who were also indicted:
- Craig Sarlo, who is currently being held in the county detention facility, has been indicted on charges of carrying concealed weapons, illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit establishment, intimidation, resisting arrest, and attempted inducing panic after entering a Port Clinton bar with a concealed firearm.
- Austin Seitz, who is being held in the county detention facility, was indicted on charges of tampering with evidence and possession of criminal tools, both felonies, after he allegedly attempted to alter the results of a urine test being administered by a probation officer.
- Anna Bowman, Port Clinton, was charged with one count of theft from the elderly and six counts of theft of checks after she allegedly took more than $7,500 from a Danbury Township resident over a two-month period.
- Robert McClanahan, Port Clinton, was indicted on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The charge is a felony and includes specifications he has previously been convicted of a felony OVI offense.
- Shane Lewandowski, who is being held in the detention facility, has been indicted on multiple counts of menacing by stalking and violating a protection order. According to reports of the Clay Township Police Department, Lewandowski placed a tracking device on a vehicle belonging to a woman who had filed a protection order against him.
- Zachary Young, Gypsum, was indicted with one count each of robbery, burglary and theft after reportedly taking money from a cash register at a Port Clinton business.
- Carl Radcliff, Jr., Columbus, was indicted on felony charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and misdemeanor charges of driving under suspension and violating a traffic control device. The indictment alleges he has been previously convicted of a felony charge of OVI.
