Lisa Carlin

Lisa Carlin age 42, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 15, 2024, due to a tragic accident. Born December 16, 1981, in Westlake, Ohio, Lisa was the youngest daughter of Timothy and Karen Carlin. She grew up in Northwood, Ohio, with her parents and two siblings. She graduated from Northwood High School and Penta Career Center. Lisa was passionate, fun-loving, and fiercely tenacious.  From a young age, Lisa dreamed of being on the radio. She turned that dream into reality with her work at Clear Channel Communications, where she became a familiar voice in numerous radio advertisements. However, her greatest source of pride was being a mother to her three treasured children, whom she immensely loved.  She was proud that all three of her children were honors students.  She was proud of Gabby’s service to the community as a Police Officer.  She was proud of Fin and Liam’s involvement in the Northwest Ohio Honors Band.  She devoted her life to loving, supporting, and providing for them. She enjoyed hanging out with her family & friends as well as listening to music – especially the Avett Brothers, whom she saw in concert many times. She also treasured watching a good movie, ideally while curled up on the couch with her favorite food, a glass of wine, and her kids, nieces, or nephews by her side.  Above all, Lisa loved to have a good time with those she loved most. She was a devoted mother; beloved daughter, sister, and aunt; and a wonderful friend who will be deeply missed every day.

Lisa leaves behind her cherished children Gabreyela Carlin, Finighan Evans, & Liam Evans, her father Tim Carlin, and siblings Erin (Darren) Munn, & Chris (Molly) Carlin. Lisa will also be dearly missed as the fun-loving aunt by Cody (Anna) Brown, Jen Brown, Carleigh Brown, Mason Brown, Mia Brown, Garner Munn, Braden Munn, Annabelle Munn, Darren Munn, Adelaide Munn, Ezra Munn, Elle Carlin, & Oliver Carlin. Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Carlin.

A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family on Tuesday, September 3, with a visitation at 11:30 a.m. and a memorial service at 12:00 pm at the Glass City Pavilion, located at 1001 Riverside Drive, Toledo, Ohio 43605.
