Water wonders
To the editor: My uncle would say, “The glass of water you are about to drink has been consumed by many people before.”
He would say that because a person drinks a glass of water and in time they pass that same water in the form of urine, which goes down the sewer and back to the source of the drinking water. Here, the source is usually the lake, where the water is drawn into a public water supply.
How many times does this happen to the drink of water? In high school we were taught that water never disappears, it just changes form – liquid, ice, snow, vapor.
They told us water on earth today was on earth when Jesus lived.
We in America need more reservoirs. No more sewer water.
