Ice Cream Eating Contests benefits Sunshine Communities

Random Acts of Walbridge held an Ice Cream Eating contest July 17, during the village’s Rally by the Rails event, with proceeds going to Sunshine Communities.
        Contestants participated in three categories:
        • Kids ages 5-10 were challenged to eat a waffle cone from a Frisbee using no hands.
        • Teens ages 11-16 competed to drink an extra-large milkshake
        • Adults ages 17 and older were challenged to eat an ice cream sundae out of a beach pail with a sand shovel as spoon.
        Winners each received more than $100 in prizes.
        The winner in the 5-10 age bracket was Christian Welly. Nick Lender won in the teen category and Brad Stoner was crowned the adult winner.
