Healing Barn plans open house fundraiser

        The Healing Barn, a 501(c)3 non-profit horse rescue facility located at 27731 Bradner Rd., Millbury will hold their Annual Open House & Fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon-3 p.m.
        The Healing Barn rescues abused and neglected horses, treats them with every means available, both conventional and alternative, and then finds new homes for those who are adoptable. Those who are not, can stay at the barn for the rest of their lives.
        “The Open House is a great way for the public to meet the horses (and donkey), learn more about The Healing Barn's mission, and enjoy an afternoon of fun with local band DC Taylor, food and beverages, as well as incredible raffle items donated by generous area businesses,” said Kelly Meister-Yetter, event coordinator for The Healing Barn.
         Admission is free.
