Hayes Presidential, YMCA, to have March membership swap
For the second year in a row, the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums and YMCA of Sandusky County are teaming up to offer their members free admission to each other’s sites throughout March.
The two sites are offering a membership swap, where members of the YMCA can show their YMCA membership card and visit Hayes Presidential for free, and Hayes Presidential members can do the same at the YMCA.
This membership swap gives Hayes Presidential members access to any amenities at the YMCA that do not have an additional fee. This free access includes using exercise equipment, the swimming pool, basketball courts, walking track, babysitting room during hours it is open, fitness class that do not have an additional fee and more.
YMCA members can tour the Hayes Home and museum for free.
In order to take advantage of the swap, Hayes Presidential members will need to fill out a waiver at the YMCA, and adults will need to show a photo ID. They will only have to fill out the waiver once.
During March, the Hayes Home and museum are open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and from noon-5 p.m. on Sunday.
On open weekdays and Saturdays, the first tour of the home is at 10 a.m., and the last tour is at 4 p.m. On Sundays, the first tour of the home is at 1 p.m., and the last tour is at 4 p.m.
The YMCA is open from 5 a.m-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 5 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday; 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
