Gibsonburg officials presented with OCMA award
The Ohio City/County Management Association has announced that the Village of Gibsonburg has been selected to receive an OCMA Annual Award for Redevelopment Projects.
The award is for the efforts that the Village of Gibsonburg put forth in transforming the formerly vacant and blighted Sunoco gas station property on W. Madison St. in its downtown area into The Logyard Park, which was officially dedicated in early November 2024.
The OCMA is the leading organization in the State of Ohio promoting and developing excellence in local government. The annual awards program honors communities, their elected officials and staff for their creative contributions to professional local government management.
The Village of Gibsonburg was presented with the award by representatives of the OCMA at the March 13 council meeting at Town Hall.
