Fremont Community Theatre presenting “Elf the Musical”

        Fremont Community Theatre will present its second show of the 2021-2022 season, “Elf the Musical,” Dec. 3-5 and Dec. 10-12. The theatre is located at 1515 Dickinson St. Floyd Collins is directing the production.
        “Elf The Musical” is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
        Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3, 4, 10 and 11 and 2 p.m. Dec. 5, 11 and 12. Tickets may be reserved by calling the box office hotline at 419-332-0695.
        Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors or military, and $5 for students (grade 12 and under). Previous season ticket holders with unused stubs will be honored for this show. They will also be able to use them for future shows in the upcoming season or toward a 2021-2022 season ticket.
        Currently all shows are sold out, but patrons can be added to the wait list by calling the above number.
