Eerie Nights to be held Oct. 26, 27 & 28 at Sauder Village
Halloween lovers of all ages will enjoy the brand new 1920s-themed Halloween event in Historic Sauder Village called Eerie Nights.
The family-friendly event will celebrate all things Halloween. Folks of all ages are encouraged to come dressed up for the Halloween Party where there will be plenty of treats (but no tricks).
As part of the special evening, guests will have an opportunity to visit the historic village and play Halloween-themed games like cat and mouse, pumpkin golf and a ring toss; take a storybook train ride; pick up party recipes in the grocery store; watch a movie clip in the 1920s theater and check out the science lab in the Grime Homestead.
Seasoned Mobile Grill food truck will be on site, along with specialty cookies and fall-themed snacks served out of the 1920s Soda Fountain. The Gift Shop and General Store will be open during Eerie Nights.
Pre-registration is required for the Eerie Nights event. The cost is $15 for adults ($13 for Sauder Village members) and $10 for children ages 4-16 ($8 for member children). Tickets may be purchased online at saudervillage.org.
There are many other fall activities planned at Historic Sauder Village through the end of October including Community Health Day/Fulton County Appreciation Day on Oct. 21 and the Woodcarver’s Show & Sale on Oct. 27 and 28. Holiday events include Making Spirits Bright, Dec. 1 (adults 21 & over) and Merry & Bright Holiday Nights Nov. 25 and 30 and Dec. 2 and 9 (by reservation only).
Sauder Village is located at 22611 SR 2 in Archbold. Fall hours are Wednesday-Friday from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a. m.-5p.m. through Oct. 28.
