Eastwood-Oak Harbor game canceled, Eagles advance

The Division V regional quarterfinal playoff game this Saturday at Eastwood vs Oak Harbor has been cancelled due to a COVID issue at Oak Harbor. 
The game will be considered a NO Contest and Eastwood will advance to the next round of the tournament.  
"Eastwood will move on to the next round of playoffs, and we wish them the best," Oak Harbor Superitendent Dr. Guy Parmigian wrote in an email to the district. "I want to express my pride in the Oak Harbor Football program and the leadership of Coach (Mike) May and his staff.  The team brought great joy to our community this season and developed great bonds and memories!  While this is a painful and disappointing moment for the team and for our fans, our student athletes and coaches are filled with gratitude for the amazing season they had.  There is a great deal of perseverance and resilience among our students and I have no doubt that our football team will emerge stronger."
