At the Eastern YMCA

YMCA of Greater Toledo is partnering with the Youth NFL Flag Football program for the Y to Y Co-Ed Flag Football leagues for ages 56, 7-8, and 9-11. The season consists of once a week practices and six games on Saturday mornings/early afternoons at various greater Toledo YMCA locations. Volunteer coaches are also needed. Each player receives an NFL reversible jersey, their own flags and participation award. Cost is $50 for a member, $100 for a program participant and youth member. Coaches meeting is Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 6:30 at the Eastern Community YMCA conference room. The season runs from Aug. 26-Oct. 12.         YMCA Basketball Director of Operations Dennis Hopson will host two three-day summer skills camps at the Eastern Community YMCA. The early camp is July 8, 10 and 12 from 10:30 a.m. to noon for ages 7-9 and the other is from 12:15 p.m.-1:45 p.m. for ages 10-14. Each participant receives a YMCA draw string bag and chance to win shooting prize giveaways. Cost is $35 for members and $75 for program participants.
