Downtown Fremont Inc. is partnering with The Garrison restaurant to spruce up the downtown area in preparation for the busy summer season.
        Employees from The Garrison started last week by creating three different designs for the 64 planters to bring life to the streets in the historic district.
        The employees continued the clean-up this week, tackling the alleyways, removing weeds and litter, and painting the alley arch ways.
        The work took place around Front Street, where the crew also weeded sidewalks around the base of trees and planters and painted the tree grates.
