Correction
An editor’s note to a letter in the Oct.19 issue of The Press incorrectly stated Ron Golightley is the fiscal officer of Freedom Township. His term as fiscal officer expired on March 31, 2020. In his letter, he endorsed a levy that will be on the Nov. 3 ballot to fund the construction of a new township office/maintenance building.
