Clay High School holds mock crash event

The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, along with several partnering agencies, coordinated a mock crash event at Clay High School on April 17. The event served as a hard-hitting reminder to students and parents of the consequences of unsafe driving behaviors such as drinking and driving, driving while distracted, driving at unsafe speeds and not buckling up. Oregon Fire and EMS, Oregon Police, Rau’s Towing and UTMC Trauma Team participated. Students in the school’s drama department played accident victims. (Press photo by Ken Grosjean)
