Celebrating Patriots

Chelsea Blue (Woodmore High School), a senior in Penta Career Center’s Firefighter Program, read a poem called "A Tribute to Our Firefighters," by Genie Graveline, during the school’s annual Patriot Day Ceremony. Each year, the students in Penta’s Criminal Justice and Firefighter programs organize a ceremony on or near the anniversary of 9/11. This year, due to local and state restrictions for large gatherings because of COVID-19, students worked with students and staff from the Digital Video Production Program to pre-record a ceremony.
