Carol S. Hood

Carol S. Hood, 73, of Williston, Ohio, passed away July 20, 2021, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio.  She was born on May 1, 1948, the daughter of Thomas V. and Ethel W. (Jensen) Hood and raised in the Lutheran faith. Carol had been a resident of the Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, for over 20 years and had worked at Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

      Carol was a very loving person who cherished time with her family especially her young nieces and nephews. She was a collector of all things cats and over the years acquired a large variety of stuffed kittens and kitten artwork. Carol enjoyed music, dancing and playing Uno with the family as well as her many trips to Walmart, her favorite store.

      Carol is survived by her sister, Joyce Hubscher-Hertzfeld nieces and nephews, Pamela (David) Sattler, Joseph (Kathleen) Sattler, Ryan Sattler, Jacob Sattler, Angela (Chris) Gump, Mathew Gump, Izaac Gump, Melissa Hubscher and Carlissa Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Dennis Hood.

      A funeral service is scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, July 24,
      2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 412 Fremont St., Elmore, Ohio, preceded by visitation starting at 10 AM.  Interment will be in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, Ohio.  The family
suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551, or the Donor’s Choice.  The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa, Ohio is assisting with arrangements. Online
